Personalised nutrition, strength training and accountability — done your way.
Who this is for
You already know roughly what to eat and that you should train. What's missing is a plan that survives a 10-hour day, and someone who notices when week three goes sideways.
The programme
We work out what actually suits you — which exercises, how your form looks, and what you're eating right now. Then we shift your habits toward the goal without turning your week upside down. No pressure to get it right straight away; this part is for finding what works.
Macros, meal plan, training program and a daily step goal, all set. Calls in week 4 and week 6. This is where we find the right training intensity and start pushing the numbers with progressive overload.
Your lifts are up on where they started and your nutrition has settled — with enough meal variations inside your calories that you're not eating the same thing every day. Steps sit at 8–12k daily to keep the weight moving and keep you mobile.
A final Zoom call in week 12 to go over the whole journey — the wins, the goals, and the reason behind every decision we made. By this point you should be confident running your own nutrition, training and steps. From here we either extend and keep going, or set new goals to chase.
What you get
Built around the days and equipment you actually have, with a demo video on every exercise. Send me your sets and I'll review the technique.
Macros and ingredients laid out for every meal, plus a shopping list organised so you're in and out of the shops faster. Nothing banned.
You send your numbers and photos, I record you a video back — what's working, what changes this week, and why.
We start on a call and jump back on every second week. It's where your questions get answered, where the reasoning behind your numbers gets explained, and where we check we're still aiming at the same thing.
Your numbers go into Everfit and into my own spreadsheet, so I can see the trend before you feel it. If something's drifting — or life throws an injury, a holiday, a brutal work month — the plan changes to suit.
Stuck at a menu, unsure about a swap, second-guessing a set? Message me. It comes to me directly — there's no one else to be passed to.

“He's supported me the whole way through and actually knows how to push me without making it feel overwhelming.”

Every photo is a Ranked Performance client. Starting points and timeframes vary — some of these are fat loss blocks, some are lean bulks.
In their words
Fat loss, powerlifting totals, first pull-ups, coming back from injury, rep team selection. Different goals, same weekly process.
Training with Zaak has completely changed my life. In just under a year I've lost over 10kg, gained incredible confidence, and achieved things I never thought possible — like squatting and deadlifting over 100kg, and even doing an unassisted pull-up (or two). I've gone from feeling uncomfortable in my own body to becoming the strongest and healthiest version of myself. Consistency used to be my biggest struggle, but now the gym is such a big part of my life that I couldn't imagine being without it. I couldn't have done it without his support and guidance, constantly pushing me each week to achieve things I never thought I was capable of.

Zaak's genuinely changed how I approach training. I came in dealing with injuries and wasn't sure how to safely get back into it, but Zaak's programming and guidance got me back into a solid routine. More importantly, he taught me the correct movement patterns and form for every exercise, so I'm actually confident I won't injure myself again. His coaching, accountability and attention to detail made all the difference. He explains everything clearly, adjusts on the fly, and doesn't make it feel like a grind. Highly recommend if you're serious about getting stronger, moving well, and doing it the right way.

Zaak, thank you so much for the coaching and guidance you have given me. I couldn't have achieved the results at the last powerlifting comp without it. To put 72.5kg on my competition total in 9 months is massive, and it's all thanks to you. I know I can be a pain because I just want to lift heavy, but you had me training far more efficiently and effectively.

Prior to hiring Zaak, I didn't understand the value of personalised coaching and how beneficial it could be. Now, after 6 months, the results speak for themselves. I'm the fittest I've ever been and I have Zaak to thank for it!

Before starting the program I struggled a lot with confidence in my lifts, and found myself sticking with weights I was overly comfortable with. Zaak has made me realise that I am capable of more than I thought. He has listened to my goals and created a program specific to improving my form and increasing my weights, all while helping me become more confident in myself.

Not only has Zaak helped me become significantly stronger, he's also taught me that my body is more capable than I think it is. I've grown more confident and have benefited so much since choosing Zaak as my coach — he listens and tailors my programs to suit my goals. I can't recommend him enough!

Working with Zaak helped me become a better overall rugby league player. The movements and exercises in his programming allowed me to get bigger, stronger and faster. It also helped me develop my game and make rep teams such as the Monaro Colts.

Thanks so much for all your help prepping and on comp day. The program made it so much easier in the gym — I didn't have to think about it, just get in and do the work. I don't think I could have come in anywhere near as good form by myself. On the day I felt refreshed and relaxed. Having you there with my meals and warm-ups planned out made a huge difference.

I had a simple goal of becoming a better version of myself. Zaak gave me the tools and guidance to push myself further than I have ever trained before. I'm excited for the future — this is just the start, and I'm looking forward to continuing with Zaak and smashing more goals.

Work with me
Pick the track that matches where you're at. Not sure which one? Send the application and we'll work it out on the first call.
The full twelve-week block. Training and nutrition built around the week you actually have, with me on it every seven days so nothing is left to guesswork.
For people who are happy with how they train and just want the eating side handled properly. Same targets, same check-ins, same explanations — without a program on top.
Head coach & founder
I coach people online from Canberra, and I've been doing it for four years. I'm not running a team — every program, every check-in video and every Zoom call comes from me, which is the reason I keep my roster small.
My job is to take the guesswork off you. You shouldn't be sitting there wondering whether you're eating enough, whether the program is right, or whether this week actually went well — that's my end of it. You show up and do the work. I'll make sure it's the right work.
Questions
That depends entirely on you — your lifestyle, your goals and what you can genuinely commit to. Two to five sessions a week is the usual range depending on what you're chasing, and a session can run anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half. We build it around what's realistic for you, not around some perfect week that never happens.
Your training, tracking and data live in Everfit. Your meal plan comes to you as a PDF — every meal with its macros and ingredients, plus a shopping list organised to get you through the shops quickly. Day to day we talk on WhatsApp, and I'm reachable whenever you need me. Each week you send your check-in and I record you a video back, and every second week we jump on Zoom.
A gym makes progressive overload easier, so it's the default. Home setups work if you've got adjustable dumbbells and somewhere to pull from — tell me what you have and I'll write to it.
No. Nothing is banned. We set calorie and protein targets and fit your normal eating inside them, because a plan you resent is a plan with an expiry date.
Twelve weeks is enough to get properly moving and to build the habits that carry it, not necessarily to finish. Plenty of clients run a second block. We'll be honest about the timeline on the first call.
That's exactly what the weekly check-ins and fortnightly calls are for. You're held accountable often enough that a setback gets caught early, and you always have clarity on what the plan is if something knocks us off track. The whole point is building habits and a routine that hold up — so a bad week is something we work through, not something that ends the block.
Apply
Fill in the application and I'll come back to you personally, usually within a day. If you'd rather talk it through first, book a 30 minute call and we'll work out whether I'm the right coach for you.
